chocolate-date-truffles

Ingredients

250g dried dates
30ml cocoa powder
250ml boiling water
Cocoa powder for rolling
Desiccated coconut for rolling

Method

1. Soak dried dates in a bowl of boiling water for 5 minutes then drain the water.
2. Add 30ml cocoa powder to the dates and blend it until smooth.
3. Place the mixture in the fridge for about an hour.
4. Roll teaspoonfuls into balls and roll in cocoa powder or dried coconut.
5. Store in an airtight container in the fridge
