Ingredients
120g margarine, melted
125ml sugar
125ml desiccated coconut
125ml flour
250ml oats
10ml golden syrup
5ml bicarbonate of soda
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 190C and line a baking dish with baking paper.
2. Mix margarine and syrup together in a large bowl.
3. Add the remaining dry ingredient’s and mix until everything is combined.
4. Firmly press the mixture into a the lined baking dish.
5. Bake at 190C for 12-15 minutes until golden.
6. Remove from the oven and cut the crunchies into squares while its still hot.
7. Cool completely and remove from the baking dish.
